The renowned watchmaking company from London Graham has recently unveiled a new model from its collection dedicated to the race track – Silverstone. The new Silverstone Stowe GMT watch was created to pay tribute to the partnership with the race team Mercedes GP Petronas. The novelty is presented in two variants – red (ref. 2BLCB.B10A.K60N) and green (ref. 2BLCB.B07A.K56N).

The new timepiece by Graham owes its name to the UK Grand Prix race track Silverstone and one of its turns knows as Stowe. The length of the track in Silverstone is 5,141 km. It is rather a complicated track with numerous places for overtaking which makes the races in Great Britain very spectacular. During the World War II Silverstone was a military air base but since 1948 it was transformed into the race track. The turns of the track owe their names to the local sights - Stowe School, church of St. Beckett, etc.

The model of timepiece named after the turn known by every racer is executed in traditional race colours and is equipped with an additional hexagonal screw. Moreover, the relief pattern on the oval chronograph buttons is the same as that of the race car pedals. The novelty by Graham is powered by an automatic movement calibre G1721 comprising 347 parts. Balance frequency makes up 28,800 bph and power reserve is 42 hours. The movement provides the functions of hours, minutes, seconds, big date and tachymeter scale.

The new Graham Silverstone Stowe GMT watch is housed by a stainless steel case coated with black PVD. The case measures 48 mm in diameter and is 17 mm thick. Water resistance is 50 meters. The dial is protected with dome sapphire crystal coated with anti-reflection treatment on both sides. The back case is secured by 6 screws and is shielded with flat dark sapphire crystal. The dial is crafted from carbon fiber and boasts luminescent hands and indices. The novelty is secured on the wrist by a black rubber strap with red or green stitching fitted with a ceramic buckle.

The new Graham timepiece is produced in a limited edition of 250 copies of each version.

All sportsmen know that a wristwatch is a functional but sometimes not very comfortable accessory. So, the new Palm-watch shows the heart beat rate, provides the owner with some statistic data and other information that allows sportsmen to use the timepiece as an efficient assistant during the trainings. It should be noted that still the timepiece is not acceptable or all sports – there are some kinds of sport where even the slightest strap on the palm can disturb the sportsman. In 2010 the renowned watchmaking company from London – Graham - once again became the official timekeeper of the Tourist Trophy Isle of Man race held from 29th May till 11th June. To celebrate this event as well as the lasting partnership with the world of racing the company has created a special edition timepiece for all 18 winners of the race. The whole series is limited to 211 pieces.

The novelty was given the name of Graham Chronofighter Oversize Tourist Trophy. It is housed by a 47-mm case surrounded by the bezel decorated with the Clous de Paris pattern. The case is also notable for the fast action start-stop lever and crown that are crafted from PVD-coated stainless steel. The same material is used for the non-slip stopwatch-reset reset button. The new Graham watch is 100 meters water resistant.

The black galvanic dial of the novelty is very eye-catching due to yellow and red colours hat are the official colours of the Tourist Trophy. At 9 o’clock there is a 30-minute counter with a red scale. The tiny date window is featured at 7 o’clock. The dial of the new Graham watch is protected by a domed sapphire crystal coated with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The case back of the watch secured by 8 screws is also equipped with sapphire crystal that reveals the Tourist Trophy logo.
