The watchmaking company TokyoFlash famous for its ultimately original LED-watches has recently presented its new unique concept watch – Shinshoku. The timepiece resembles its predecessors but at the same time has its own peculiar features. It looks like a bracelet made of stainless steel. The bracelet houses a 29-LED matrix. To see the current time the owner of such a timepiece has to push a button that activates the LED animation mechanism.

The view of twinkling LEDs is really spectacular. But if you are not in the mood to watch it you can switch the function off by one more button pressure.

To tell the time the owner of the Shinshoku has to count the active LEDs: the hours are indicted by red lights placed in the first row; the second row accommodates green lights that indicate minutes. Three green lights mean a quarter of an hour. And finally the yellow lights show the number of minutes one should add to quarters to know the exact time.

In spite of seemingly difficult principle of time-telling it is actually simple. But to tell the time quickly one should brush his or her skills of mental arithmetic. The most spectacular view the new TokyoFlash watch has at night when the lights are ideally visible.

The Oberon has a very interesting appearance and also tells the time using a very interesting combination of LED lights. The watch is housed in a streamlined black IP coated solid stainless steel case and is complemented with a custom designed linked strap and bright white LED display. The watch measures around 38 mm x 38 mm x 11 mm, at a weight of just around 150 grams.

The time is presented simply, with a single touch of the upper button. The outer ring of LEDs indicates the hour, with LEDs in the same position as numbers in a traditional watch. The original timepiece is equipped with a Japanese quartz movement and guarantees 30-meter water-resistance.
