HARRY WINSTON together with Time Aeon Foundation launches a new project – The Pleiad which is an international contest among the watchmakers who don’t have their own brands or don’t sell their watches under the proprietary brand. The winner will have the opportunity to develop his project under the supervision of legendary watchmakers from Time Aeon Foundation.

Limited number of watches will be sold under the Harry Winston brand but with the name of the winner at the dial of the watch. This is strictly speaking not a new practice for this brand since the Opus 2001.

Time Aeon Foundation is a non-profitable organization created in Switzerland in 2008. Its main goal is to preserve, maintain and promote haute horlogerie. Among the founders of the organization there are Robert Greubel, Stephen Forsey, Philippe Dufour, Vianney Halter and Kari Voutilainen. The same people form the jury and obviously under their supervision the winner will design his timepieces.

Ocean Dual Time is the second edition of this watch by HARRY WINSTON which was earlier called Project Z4. It reported that the calibre on which this original watch is based is the first calibre developed and fully assembled at the proprietary HW manufactory in Geneva.

The Harry Winston Ocean Dual Time has been awarded the prize for the Best Timepiece of the Year in Men’s Category. Whether it is the world’s finest diamonds or whether it is complicated timepieces, the promise of Harry Winston remains constant and unyielding: to create only exceptional and remarkable works of art.

The 44mm rose-gold case accommodates two dials. The graphic displays of both day and night time for each time zone, show, at a glance, when to place calls around the globe. By pressing the repeater-style trigger on the left side of the case, one can click from one time zone to the next. The easy-to-read date, quick-set by the crown, is framed vertically to display the minute and hour. This sophisticated time-zone module was developed in-house by Harry Winston on a robust, self-winding caliber.

After a successful début of the Avenue Square for women HARRY WINSTON has presented a male version of the watch.

In comparison with the female version Avenue Square A2 Men is much more functional: GMT indicator is equipped with additional time indicators for each zone and a big vertical date indicator. Innovative and complicated, the module of the Avenue Squared for men was developed by Harry Winston on a robust, self-winding calibre, and fully assembled at the Harry Winston Manufacture in Geneva, Switzerland.

Avenue Square A2 Men is housed by a white gold case 43.4 x 44.7mm in size. The bezel is set with 60 oversized baguette diamonds totaling 9.87 cts, for the ultimate in luxurious sophistication. The watch features 30 meters water resistance and is supplemented with an alligator leather strap. The series is 25 pieces limited.

The jeweller Harry Winston celebrates his 20th anniversary of its Excenter collection by creating Excenter Perpetual Calendar watch. The Harry Winston Excenter was amongst the first watches to feature retrograde indicators. The Harry Winston Premier Excenter Perpetual Calendar features an open dial allowing one to see the interior workings of the movement and has a platinum case.

The designers housed the Premier Excenter Perpetual Calendar in a platinum case and skeletonized the dial. It’s worth noting that in spite of them being insignificant, the changes gave an amazing result: the watch acquired profundity and significance.

The series is limited to 20 pieces.
