The new timepiece by Bovet is notable first of all for the original in-house tourbillon movement. The tourbillon makes a full turn in only 80 seconds. The movement was developed by Dimier 1738, a company that is engaged into production of watches and unique movements. Together with Bovet the company belongs to the businessman Pascal Raffy. This time the masters from both companies united their efforts and created a really impressive timepiece. The mastery of the watchmakers is seen in every detail - from the Clous de Paris decorated bridges to the strap made of two types of rubber.

The movement comprises 514 parts (with 70 of them in tourbillon). Balance frequency makes up 21,600 bph while power reserve is 80 hours. The 62-jewel movement animates the functions of hours, minutes and seconds as well as power reserve indication (at 9 o’clock) and big date (at 6 o’clock).

The novelty by Bovet is accommodated by a titanium case measuring 46 mm in diameter. The dial is shielded by sapphire crystal coated with anti-reflection treatment on both sides. Water resistance makes up 100 meters.

The watches from the 80-copies limited edition collection by Bovet are worthy to occupy one of the central places in collections of watch amateurs and connoisseurs.

Consisting of 90% of iron, 8% of nickel, 0.4% of cobalt and 0.04% of phosphor this meteorite is one of the most solid – its density is about 8 grams per cubic centimeter. The piece of meteorite used for the watch was cut up, polished and processed by acid to reveal its natural structure.

Other features of the new watch are quite traditional. The new Bovet timepiece is housed by a case measuring 46 mm in diameter and 21.6 mm in height. Water resistance is 300 meters.

The dial of the watch is protected with sapphire crystal coated with anti-reflection treatment.
The Bovet Sportster Saguaro Chronograph Meteorite is powered by an automatic movement 11BA01 with balance frequency of 28,800 bph and power reserve of 42 hours. The autowinding rotor is crafted from 22К gold while the screws are blued or covered with red gold.

The new Bovet watch is produced in a limited edition of 100 or 50 pieces depending on the model. The timepiece is available in three colour variants with the silver, gilded or black dial. The case may be crafted from steel, black PVD-coated steel or 18К rose gold.

Diamond hour markers are placed accurately at the guilloche mother-of-pearl dial housed by a 34-mm rose gold case. In total this masterpiece, featuring 30 meters water resistance and equipped with a quartz movement, is decorated with 110 pearls and 492 diamonds.
