The real highlight of the REB 5 collection by a very progressive watchmaker - Rebellion – is the REB-5 Tourbillon. So, even this revolutionary brand couldn’t help creating a watch with this very traditional complication. Though it’s worth saying that the design and the decoration of the movement are made in hi-tech style so typical of this brand.
The new REB 5 Tourbillon features a 46 mm X 56.7 mm X 19.6 mm case which is similar to other models by Rebellion in shape, design and quantity of parts. The case is equipped with sapphire crystals with bevelled facets. Water resistance is 100 meters. The case is available in all types of gold alloys.
The new watch accommodates a REB-5 movement which is a one-minute tourbillon with manual winding and power reserve for 7 days (provided by to barrels). The balance frequency is 21,600 bph. The movement is based on 23 jewels. The bridges and platinum are covered with galvanic black gold treatment as well as the wheel system. The screws are blued, darkened or gilded. The tooth-gears of the barrels are made in “wolf-teeth” style.

Epos 3400 GMT Limited Edition
The new watch by the well-known watchmaking company Epos – 3400 GMT – is a timepiece created specially for travellers. The function of showing the time in different time zones makes this watch really useful for those who often have to travel in distant countries.
The new Epos 3400 GMT watch is peculiar for housing two absolutely independent automatic movements ЕТА 2671 which makes this timepiece different from any other. The indication of time in the second time zone is carried out by the bilateral hour hand which goes inversely at the dial made in the “retrograde” style. A good supplement makes the second date indicator which is quite rare in GMT watches. But at the same time the time correction is not very convenient – the owner of the timepiece has to double the number of operations.
One more disadvantage of the new timepiece is its dimensions: the oval case measuring 40 mm X 47 mm and 11.1 mm high. But the design of the relief dial and new fresh and unusual look make this disadvantage practically unnoticeable. The dial is protected with sapphire crystal. The back case is transparent. The new Epos 3400 GMT is water resistant to 50 meters.
The new series of 3400 GMT watches by Epos is limited to 999 copies in each variant.

Favre-Leuba Bathy Choronograph Triple Time Zone
This year the watchmaker Favre-Leuba has replenished its Bathy collection of timepieces. The new model - Bathy Choronograph Triple Time Zone - is an automatic chronograph with here time zones indication (the central hand for GMT, the third time zone is indicated with the help of a rotary ring at the outer edge of the dial which is rotated with the crown at 9 o’clock).
The new watch accommodates the FL 304 movement with 25 jewels. The power reserve is 40 hours. Balance frequency makes up 28,800 bph. All these specifications together with the general construction of the dial resemble the widely used ETA movement.
The new Bathy Choronograph Triple Time Zone watch is housed by a titanium (sort 2) case measuring 46 mm in diameter and 18 mm in height. The dial is protected with domed sapphire crystal. The back case is screw-up. Water resistance is 100 meters.
The basic model of this collection seems to be even more interesting. It is the Bathy V2 watch introduced at BaselWorld 2008. The watch is equipped with a 45-m depthometer. The water exerts pressure at the copper-beryllium membrane through 4 openings at the screw-up back cover and activates the movement with the central depthometer hand. The movement FL 305 features power reserve for 44 hours, balance frequency of 28,800 bph, 27 jewels. The case has the same dimensions but is crafted from titanium sort 5 and features a “diver” water resistance of 300 meters. The dial is protected with domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflection treatment.

Chaumet Marc Alfieri Montre Tourbillon

The new tourbillon is the first attempt of Paris-based jewellery house of Chaumet to make a sensation in the world of Haute Horlogerie. The company enters the watch market with an interesting timepiece - Marc Alfieri Montre Tourbillon. As it may be guessed from the name of the watch it was designed by a well-known Haute Horlogerie watch designer Marc Alfieri. And the tourbillon is a more expensive “remake” of Alfieri’s last year model presented at BaselWorld 2008 under his own brand name.
The case of the new Chaumet Marc Alfieri Montre Tourbillon is made of titanium and is covered with black PVD. The lugs are crafted from 18К white gold. The case measures 45mm X 55 mm in size. The black opal dial features sky-blue insertions and the tourbillon aperture is decorated with 40 diamonds with total weight of 0.17 carat. The dial as well as the back case is protected with sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflection treatment. The watch is 30 meters water resistant.
The new watch by Chaumet houses a minute tourbillon movement with manual winding and power reserve of 5 days (120 hours). The calibre TM 01 was developed and produced by BNB CONCEPT. The movement provides the following functions: central hour and minute hands, GMT aperture with correction button at 5 o’clock and day/night indicator at 6 o’clock. At 1 o’clock there is a fly-back chronograph counter with hour and minute hand for 1 hour which is controlled with the help of a push-piece at 2 o’clock. The watch also boasts linear power reserve and balance oscillation optimal amplitude indicators. The main plate is crafted from carbon fibre and the bridges covered with blue PVD look like a magnified image of the crystal lattice of the carbon fibre.
The Chaumet Marc Alfieri Montre Tourbillon series is limited to 12 copies.

Longines Les Elеgantes
It has become a good tradition with Longines to release annually a new version of limited edition collection of lady’s watches in Art Deco style - Les Elеgantes. The epoch of Art Deco (1920s-1930s) is really unique in a sense of diversity of designs. Longines has been producing the Les Elegantes collection for 8 years already and the design has always been different though very characteristic.
The main features of the Les Elegantes 2009 collection of timepieces remained unchanged. The watches still house a L805 movement designed in the 1970s. The movement is manually wound and provides 28 hours of power reserve. It is based on 17 jewels and feature balance frequency of 21,600 bph.
The movement is accommodated by the 18К white gold case manually engaraved and decorated with diamonds. The dial is protected with sapphire crystal.
This time the line is limited to 20 copies of each version.
