Bell & Ross for iPad

The well-known watchmaking company Bell & Ross has one more time proven that it keeps pace with the ultimate technology and presented its own application for the iPad. The previous developments of the company showed that it widely uses the modern Internet-technology: in 2009 Bell & Ross was the first to present the application for the iPhone, and at the end of the year 2009 the brand became the first to open its on-line boutique.

Strengthening its position on the Internet-technology market Bell & Ross has created a new application with four sections owing to which the users can get information about the history and mission of the brand, its collections of watches for underwater activities, it Vintage models, and to get familiar with the list of the company’s 500 official dealers all over the world. The information is available in English and French.
The new application is also available for the Blackberry and iPhone users.

IPhone on Your Wrist

The company ADR Studio has recently presented a new concept watch inspired by the design of the Apple smart-phones. The novelty was given the name of Apple iWatch.

The new original timepiece housed by the aluminium case is notable for the built-in pico-projector that allows projecting an image on the screen. The novelty also features a touchpad screen and WiFi technology that allows getting images from other Apple gadgets like for example iPad. The memory volume of the new iWatch is 16 Gb.

Longines Presents New Application for iPhone

The reputable Swiss watchmaking brand Longines joins the company of watchmaking brands that has already created applications for iPhone. Now the amateurs of the elegant timepieces by Longines can admire them not only on their wrists but also on the screens of their iPhones.

The Longines application can be downloaded from the iTunes. It offers the access to the latest watch collections by Longines as well as the addresses of the brand’s boutiques, themes for the display and videos about the brand and its timepieces.
The Longines application also serves as a digital watch showing hours, minute and seconds on the screen of the iPhone. What is more one of the functions of the new application allows “trying” the model from the new collections on your wrist.

It seems that soon the owners of an iPhone will manage to gather the biggest collection of the most prestigious and luxurious watches in the world. The only thing is that the collection is virtual. One more prestigious watchmaking brand has recently presented a new application for the iPhone Apple. The watchmaking company Perrelet cared for both male and female owners of the fashionable gadget and presented two watch applications – the Diamond Flower for women and the Turbine Double Rotor for men.
Based on the principle of the Double Rotor, the Turbine and the Diamond Flower twirl with your telephone’s slightest movement. Thanks to its motion detectors, the effect is extremely realistic and the illusion is so lifelike, that you may want to wear your iPhone on your wrist, because the programme will serve as your clock. Linde Werdelin Launches New Application for iPhone

For many years the founders of the watchmaking brand Linde Werdelin Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin have been spending their free time practicing alpine ski. That’s why they have become real experts on alpine ski tourism. In 2006 they decided to share their experience and knowledge with other amateurs of winter sports and launched a manual for alpine skiers Linde Werdelin Ski Guide with useful tips and information about European ski resorts.
This year the new edition of the Guide was published not only on paper but also in the form of an application for iPhone and iPod Touch which made the use even more convenient.
