To repose on the laurels is not something Rolf Schnyder is going to do. He continues to test the world’s patience and to study people’s imagination in order to find new ideas. That’s why it is not as surprising that the CEO of Ulysse Nardin is the fan of Tobogganing: he’s been the member of the legendary St. Moritz Tobogganing Club for 40 years already. This year the St. Moritz Tobogganing Club (SMTC) celebrates its 125th anniversary. The head of Ulysse Nardin decided to mark this event with the special 12-pieces limited edition of the Cresta Run Chronograph.

The designers and watchmakers from Ulysse Nardin worked really hard and the result is impressive: the watch looks very original and expensive. The new Ulysse Nardin watch is powered by the in-house self-winding movement calibre UN 160 equipped with an escapement mechanism made of high-tech silicium. The movement also boasts 52 jewels, 50 hours of power reserve and a COSC certificate.

The new Ulysse Nardin timepiece is housed by an 18К white gold case with the dial decorated with the club’s emblem, anniversary symbols and team colours of SMTC. The dial shows hours and minutes hands, seconds at an additional subdial and a double date aperture.
