The new watch by the renowned German watchmaker Glashutte Original pays tribute to the 1960s – the dualistic time of respectable and honest citizens on the one hand and ready for a protest beatniks and rock fans on the other. The Sixties will always remain in minds as the time of the American dream chase. Well, the classical vintage Original Senator Sixties Panorama Date watch certainly stands for the 1960s conservatives as its design is a model one for a classical everyday timepiece.

The elements of décor and the movement of the new Glashutte Original watch are treated in the most attentive and thorough way: the domed dial with canonical Arabic numerals shows three necessary hands and a beautiful data panorama (the hands and hour markers are made of rose gold with 12 diamonds in front of each).
The new timepiece is housed by a stainless steel case equipped with sapphire crystal coated with anti-glare treatment from both sides. The case back also features a sapphire crystal aperture through which one can admire a superbly finished movement. Water resistance is 30 meters.
The heart of the new Glashutte Original watch is an automatic movement calibre 39-47 with balance frequency of 28,800 bph and power reserve for 40 hours. The movement is equipped with the Incabloc shockproof system. It also boasts a skeletonized rotor crafted from 21k gold.
