The watchmaking company Ateliers de Monaco has recently presented the information about its new timepiece that is produced to impress the visitors of the Geneva Time Exhibition, which will take place on January 17-22, 2010. The new watch was given the name of Ronde d’Or. The timepiece housed by a golden case measuring 43 X 13 mm is a real masterpiece of Haute Horlogerie.

The new Ateliers de Monaco watch is powered by a patented Ateliers de Monaco movement XP1 Tourbillon equipped with a silicium release mechanism, wheel and lever.

The dial of the Ronde d’Or watch is made of onyx and mother-of-pearl. The time is indicated by 18K white gold hands. The case of the new timepiece is made of 31 parts. It features a titanium core and is covered with brushed and polished white gold side panels. The see-through case back is covered with sapphire crystal and provides good view at manually decorated movement with de Monaco’s unique 18-carat solid gold rotor. The watch is 30 meters water resistant.
The watch is secured on the wrist with a hand-stitched black alligator strap with an 18K gold folding buckle. The new Ronde d’Or watch is produced in a strictly limited edition of 18 copies.
