Omega Hour Vision in “Up in the Air”
January 15, 2010
Recently the viewers of the world had the opportunity to see the new Oscar-candidate movie “Up in the Air”. The film is starring George Clooney whose character - Ryan Bingham - spends most of his time in the air. This is a man who is hired to oversee the downsizing of businesses. Ryan Bingham’s role is to deliver the bad news to employees who are about to lose their job - although clearly times are not as tough for him, bearing in mind the top-of-the range timepiece on his arm.

Attentive viewers can notice that the main character played by George Clooney is wearing Omega DeVille Hour Vision watch housed by a case and featuring a steel dial and black leather strap. The choice of the timepiece is rather understandable – for a long time George Clooney has been one of Omega’s most well-known and active ambassadors.

“Up in the Air is a timely release – its theme of corporate downsizing resonates powerfully with recession-era movie audiences”, Omega states.
