The new watch Tempograph by Louis Moinet features an original complication – a 10-seconds retrograde indicator. It took three years for designers from Louis Moinet to create the luxuriously decorated movement with rotary stepped wheel, white gold and titanium parts and blued steel screws. Each ten seconds the new Tempograph offers a mini-show: aperture at the dial opens to owner’s eyes the work of the movement.

In fact practical value of this complication is not quite understandable as the owner of the Tempograph can’t actually count the seconds: the seconds scale with retrograde hand features markers from 0 to 10 only and it’s pretty difficult to understand which tens it counts at the moment.
But anyway the watch looks marvellous. The masterly crafted case comprises 48 components. The case is made of 18K rose gold, titanium and steel and measures 47 mm in diameter. The new Tempograph by Louis Moinet is produced in a limited edition of 60 pieces.
The black Cotes du Jura dial of the new Louis Moinet watch is protected with sapphire crystal coate with double anti-reflection treatment. The back case is screw-in. It shows an engraved individual number of the timepiece. The new watch is 30 meters water resistant.
The watch is powered with a mechanical self-winding movement consisting of 125 parts and 27 jewels. Balance frequency is 28,800 bph. The movement boasts a Glucydur balance, blued steel screws and rotor decorated in Cotes du Jura style. Power reserve of the movement is 42 hours.
The new Louis Moinet Tempograph watch is fixed on the wrist with a Louisiana alligator leather manually sewn strap equipped with a Louis Moinet clasp crafted from 316L steel, 18Кrose gold and black titanium.
