The second MunichTime watch fair took place in Munich in the Bayerischer Hof hotel from October 30 to November 1. The fair gathered 71 brands that presented their new models of timepieces. The visitors could see and appraise wristwatches and interior clocks made by the leading watchmaking companies as A. Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, Blancpain, Breguet, Breitling, Hermès, Hublot, Longines, Omega, etc.

Within the framework of the MunichTime 2009 the jury consisting of 66 experts chose from 167 nominated models the winners in 4 categories. The beautiful and elegant Le cirque Animalier by Cartier was chosen as the winner in the “Ladies Best Watch” category.
Among other winners were Seamaster Ploprof 1200 M by Omega that won in the Best Spotive watch category, Große 1815 by A. Lange & Söhne which is the winner of the Classical elegance category and Master Grande Tradition Tourbillion à Quantième Perpétuel by Jaeger-LeCoultre and Lange Zeitwerk by A. Lange & Söhne that shared the victory in the Complications category.
Currently the results of the visitors’ vote are expected. After this information appears the specialists from watchmaking industry will be able to compare opinions of professionals and amateurs.
