The new 30 pieces limited edition series of timepieces by Girard-Perregaux is dedicated to the 70th Bol d’Or Mirabaud sailing race which is Europe biggest inner regatta. As in last year Girard-Perregaux acts as an official sponsor of the event. To celebrate the 70th race and the partnership between the company and regatta the watchmaker has presented a new watch - Laureato Bol d’Or Mirabaud Сhronograph.
The new Girard-Perregaux timepiece features a titanium case measuring 46 mm in diameter. The bezel, chronograph push-pieces and the crown are made of rubber. The dial is protected with sapphire crystal. Water resistance of the new watch is 100 meters.
The new watch accommodates an automatic movement calibre GP033C0 providing power reserve for 46 hours. Balance frequency is 28,800 vph. The movement is based on 52 jewels. The movement is also equipped with a fly-back chronograph with a 12-hours totalizer and 5 ’+5’-indicator of time remaining to the beginning of the race. At 9 o’clock there is a 24-hours indicator.
