Red Label Museum Calendomatic is a rather long name for a rather simple watch by Movado. The creators of the new timepiece were inspired by the original Calendomatic watch which was produced in 1946. Both unassuming and modern the new Calendomatic boasts a good many surprises, like the emblematic red “M” chevron, espied through its sapphire crystal back.
The new Red Label Museum Calendomatic displays an original centre date disc, while a convex window in the sapphire crystal magnifies the day date at 6 o’clock. The timepiece is housed by a 42-mm stainless steel case equipped with domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The timepiece is 30 meters water resistant.
The dial if the new Red Label Museum Calendomatic is Museum black with silvered Dauphine hands. At the dial there is traditionally only one round hourmarker at 12 o’clock.
The heart of the new Movado watch is the Calibre ETA 2824-2 with autowinding rotor decorated with the company’s logo.
The new watch goes together with a black alligator leather with steel buckle.
