The new Retrograde watch by the watchmaker Cimier has every right to take a worthy place among the mechanical masterpieces. The new features subtly decorated automatic movement with the retrograde displays of the days and date.
The Cimier Retrograde accommodates an elegantly decorated automatic movement - Soprod 9094 calibre with such complications as day, date and power reserve retrograde indication.
At first sight the Cimier Retrograde gives an impression of restrain, elegance and charm of the “Old World”. Sentimental retro-style is reflected in refined Roman numerals and original inlayed scales. They advantageously accentuate the mechanical essence of the new watch and at the same time embody simplicity and clarity. The only disadvantage is probably the bi-directional day-indicator at the dial.
The watch is housed by a polished steel case equipped with domed anti-reflection sapphire crystal. The screw-up transparent back case provides 50 m of water resistance. The dial is available in two variants: with rhodium or silver treatment. Day and date indicators and the power reserve indicator are placed at 3 and 9 o’clock. The watch is accompanied with an elegant crocodile leather strap with a clasp.
