This original timepiece will be interesting both for those who like classical watches and those who appreciate unusual elements of design in their timepieces. With a round case and white dial the new Evolution watch looks as a traditional classical timepiece but for one detail. Instead of figures at the dial it features small images telling the story of evolution of life.
The Evolution watch was created with the help of the well-known Scottish illustrator and comic book artist Tom Gauld who managed to visualise time a little differently challenging our perceptions in his drawings. Rather than using numbers normally depicting time he takes his solid black characters to depict time as a sequence in evolution as opposed to a sequence in numbers paradigm.
The watch was designed for the United Arrows, a Japanese fashion company.
