Van Cleef & Arpels: Stake on Red

Van Cleef and Arpels, a jewellery and watchmaking house from Paris, has presented its new collection – Red – which is created specially for Chinese market and will be sold in China only. This jewellery collection includes pieces decorated with red precious stones: rubies, corals and alhambra. It’s common knowledge that in China red colour is considered to bring good luck, that’s why Van Cleef & Arpels think that the collection will be popular.
Parisian jewellery house admit that Chinese market is one of the most important for the company. By the end of the year Van Cleef & Arpels is planning to open two boutiques in Beijing: in the centre of the city and in the Olympic village, and in November Red will be replenished by two exclusive editions of wedding jewellery and watches.
