Jorg Hysek Symphony
February 7, 2008
Symphony is one of the most interesting models by Jorg Hysek. It is an automatic tourbillon with a minute repeater that sound Westminster Carillon. A beautiful autowinding rotor is made of sapphire and is mounted in gold. Rotating it winds not only the movement of the watch but also the repeater module. A powerful winding barrel features power reserve fro 80 hours. The minute repeater module strikes hours, quarters and minutes with the help of 4 hammers (instead of traditional 2) that distinctively play 4 notes: do, re, mi and sol. One can watch it operating through an absolutely transparent sapphire dial. Minute tourbillon bridge can be made in the shape of the owner’s initials.
The case of the Jorg Hysek Symphony is 44,5 Ñ… 52 mm in size. It is made of white gold. The watch is water resistant to 30 meters. The skeleton hands are covered with a luminescent covering. The watch is available with a black rubber or manually made crocodile leather strap with a proprietary bracelet fastener made of white gold.
