Swatch Group: There is no Limit for Perfection
January 30, 2007
Swatch Group income in 2006 increased by 12% and for the first time in the history exceeded $ 5 billion (more exactly - $ 5050 million)
The highest growth (13%) was estimated in the watch and jewelry branches, but the microelectronics subdivision is only a little worse (9%).
The only branch where the sails have decreased is the production of mechanisms for other companies. Because of closing the ETA factory in Malaysia, the production of the mechanisms has increased from 107 to 52 million copies.Among the watch companies the best result have been achieved by Breuget, Blancpain, Glashutte Original and Omega. A significantly increased production capacity enabled the total increase of Jaquez Droz production.

Best Gift on St.Valentine’s Day: Stella Fuchsia
January 29, 2007
It seems that the first company to announce its readiness for St.Valentine’s Day was Balmain. The novelty Stella Fuchsia, if given as a present, may replace saying “I love you”, as on there is the symbol of love on the case - a heart created from rubies. There are also a couple of small marks in the shape of hearts on the face. The mechanism is quartz. The appropriate cost of the new watch is EUR 290.

Most Expensive Computer Mouse in the World
“All that men have is cars, shoes, suits and pens”, - has recently said the president of the company Maurice Lacroix, - “that’s why they buy watches in order to point out their position”.
But…there is one more thing. Computer devices are also now associated with the word “luxury”. Of course, as a computer is a mass product, it is simply impossible to go on without it. But at the same time no many people want to be one of the many who sits in front of a computer and clicking the mouse.
What can be done? It is rather complicated to make a “luxury” mouse or keyboard. It is not a car and even not a mobile phone, everything goes round a pair of buttons and a scrolling wheel.
The problem has been solved practically. There is one thing in the world, and as long the thing is added to any product, the product becomes luxury-class one. This thing is diamonds. The computer mouse, created by the company Fabstuff is enchased with 59 diamonds and looks really stylish. Undoubtedly the device will become quite a popular gift on any holiday, forthcoming St. Valentine’s Day for example.
The precious computer devices come in different variants: there are models covered in white and 18-carat yellow gold. Beside the color, the mice differ by the coloring of the sides (black or white) and the diamonds’ compositions: “diamond flower” or “random diamonds“. Fabstuff has a special offer for those who want more: your can enchase your initials on the mouse you buy.
In three weeks the company promises to deliver mice straight to your home. The mouse has USB/PS/2 connection and has ordinary 2 buttons and a wheel.
