Not long ago Rado company created a watch made of diamond (V10K). V10K is a serial Rado watch. A special technology was used in its production. Elements of carbon are turned into vapour and then condensed. As a result a layer of clear diamond appears. This Rado watch is impossible to scrath. The watch will keep its beauty for decades. A strange name of this model can be explained quite easily. V10K is an abbreviation which means Vickers 10 000. This is the upper bound of one of hardness scales - Vickers scale.

The diamond-hard components of the Rado V10k radiate with a mystical brilliance. Only those in the know realize that the hardness of diamonds lies veiled behind it.

Most ancient watch without a dial were made in 1386 or a little earlier and are still working! They are situated on a cathedral in Salisbury, Great Britain. In 1956 it was restored. By that time they had been working for 498 years and ticked more than 500 000 000 times.

The biggest watch in the world is the astronomical watch in St. Peter`s Cathedral (Bove, France). It was made in 1865…1868. The watch consists of 90 000 details, its height is 12,1 m, width - 6,09 m, depth - 2,7 m.

“Su - Sun” watch (made in Keifyn, China in 1088…1092) had armillary bronze sphere which weighed 20,3 tons. The sphere could hold 1,52 tons of water. According to historical chronicles, the watch worked till 1136.

The 15,54 Ñ… 15,54 Ñ… 15,54 size watch are placed in the atrium and occupies five floors of the “International Square” building in Washington. Controlled by a computer the watch works to 1/100 sec. It weighs two tons. The tremendous watch is lighted by 122 neon tubes. The watch shows time in 12 cities of the world and time when the Sun is at the peak.

Puig Group concern has announced about closing of their Paco Rabanne fashion house (it celebrates its 40 years this year).

The designer of the brand Patrick Robinson, who presented his third collection four months ago, has already returned to New York.

Company employees have already been recommended to look for another job. According to French laws, the company must develop a special social plan which provides the employees with considerable compensations. This plan also must allow the employees to return to their former jobs in case of a recommencement of the company…

Paco Rabanne, the son of an officer shot by the Spanish dictator Franco, founded his own fashion house in 1966 in Paris. The development of this brand was nonuniform. There was a crisis in the 90`s. Pig family helped the company to overcome it.

Puig Beauty and Fashion Group also control such fashionable brands as Carolina Herrera and Nina Ricci. It also owns licences for production of Comme des Garcons and Hussein Chalyan perfumery.
