In November the Raymond Weil Club team has announced the beginning of the 4th RW Club International Photography Prize contest that is one of the most prestigious and important photography competitions in the world.

The main prize of the competition is $15,000 and an opportunity to organize several exhibitions in the most prestigious art-galleries. The winner’s photos will also be demonstrated at the Raymond Weil stand at BaselWorld jewellery and watch fair.

Opened both to amateurs and professionals, the RW Club Photography Competition registration period is open until November 27th.

We’ll remind you that last year the winner of the RW Club 2008 International Photography Prize was Carlo Gianferro from Italy.

Coloseo Lady Diamond is a new extremely feminine and elegant watch by Saint Honore. The new Nabucco Rivoluzione Black Chronograph is a male sportive watch presented by a well-known and reputable watchmaking company Raymond Weil.

The new Raymond Weil chronograph is housed by a 46-mm stainless still case covered with PVD-treatment. The timepiece is also available in titanium. The case is decorated with insertions made of carbon which is quite fashionable in the watchmaking industry today.

The functions of the new Raymond Weil timepiece are as follows: hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph with 12-hours, 30-minutes and 60-seconds counters. Between 4 and 5 o’clock there is a date aperture. The bezel shows a tachymeter scale with detailed markers.

The dial is protected with sapphire crystal coated with double anti-reflective treatment. Water resistance makes up 200 meters.

The watch is powered by an automatic movement ETA Valjoux 7753 with 27 jewels. The movement provides 46 hours of power reserve and feature balance frequency of 28.800 bph.

The new Raymond Weil watch is accompanied with a Nile crocodile leather strap with a clasp equipped with double protection system.

The famous jewellery and watchmaking company Cartier hopes that this years Christmas sales will be more successful for the company than last year when the influence of the crisis was quite strong.

To achieve this goal Cartier decided to broaden the range of more affordable watches in the price category from 200 to 3000 euro. The company believes that this measure will allow more customers to buy a luxury brand present for their loved ones during the period of Christmas shopping.

In his interview to Reuters CEO Cartier Bernard Fornas claimed that the brand already offers the watches priced for 300-400 euro. But the offer in this price category is still not very high.
