Lot Description
The timepiece is a fine and rare limited edition Audemars Piguet stainless steel automatic chronograph wristwatch with dater created in 2003 to celebrate the Royal Oak collection's 30th anniversary.
The watch is equipped with a nickel-finished lever movement with 37 jewels. It boasts a grey guilloché dial with polished black chapter ring, luminescent Arabic numerals, luminescent hands, three subsidiary dials indicating 30 minute and 12 hour registers and red Alinghi logo to the 12 hour register and constant seconds. The watch is housed by a large tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case with octagonal screw-set bezel, screw-down chronograph buttons and crown. The back is secured by eight screws with engraved scene depicting two racing sailboats.
Case, dial and movement signed. The watch goest together with a rubber Audemars Piguet strap and AP deployant clasp.
