COVER Watches are manufactured in Switzerland and bear the designation "Swiss Made", the label that is highly esteemed worldwide. "Swiss Made" embodies a concept of quality having been achieved over the years. It includes both technical quality of watches (accuracy, reliability, water- and shock-resistance) as well as aesthetic quality (elegance, genuineness of design, completion). It equally covers traditional manufacturing and new technologies.
The intrinsic value of the "Swiss Made" label, therefore, is the result of considerable efforts on the part of watch making companies being ultimately responsible for the maintenance of their high reputation.
COVER together with the "Swiss Made" label mean an alliance providing customers with the best of guarantees possible.
The Cover company was established between 1915 and 1916 by the watch manufacturer Stadler. In 1930 it was taken over by Solothurn’s local authorities, which later handed it over to the first watchmakers’ school in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Between 1930 and 2002, watchmakers were trained at the prominent corner building in the north-west of what was known as the most beautiful baroque city in Switzerland.
