Cimier is a small watchmaking company base headquartered in Zug, Switzerland. It was founded in 1924 under the name Rego Watch Company. Just after one year in 1925 its founder R. Lapanouse presented his first watch of the highest quality.
But the real success came to the brand only some years later, after the World War II. In this period the company produced a whole series of bright original collections.
At the dials of models housed by gilded and chromium-plated cases a note “Cimier” already appeared, and in 1954 this name was given to the company itself.
The watches from the after-war collections housed movements assembled at the company’s own manufactures. During the years of its existence Cimier has been acknowledged as a unique high quality wristwatch brand with reasonable prices.
At Baselworld 2005 the company presented a collection of mechanical watches Cimier 1924. 40-mm cases of watches from this collection are made of 316L steel or of steel with 18-carat gold covering. The watches feature date and day indication and are water resistant up to 50 meters.
In 2007 Cimier delighted its admirers by the release of Сimier 1961 collection starring Seven seas chronograph. This model is dedicated to tireless travellers and fearless discoverers, whose life is a real adventure.
Masculine and elegant design of the Seven seas chronograph reflects the rich and tireless inner world of its owner in the best possible way. At the black support holder of this model there are hour indicators of two time zones. The hands are covered by a luminescent covering, sapphire crystal features anti-shock and anti-gloss characteristics.
