The Glashutte Original manufactory is notable for perfect mastership in complicated watches production for 150 years. Since the moment when in December 1845 the court watchmaker F.A. Lange founded the first watch manufactory in Glashutte this small town has been the centre of the German watchmaking industry. Since then Glashutte watches has been notable for their outstanding quality, precision and reliability.

The highest level of technology of the Glashutte manufactory corresponds to the strictest demands of the «Made in Germany» brand. Glashutte Original not only designs and assembles all the watch movements but also make all the movement components at its own factory: from the smallest screw to the most complicated movement. The finishing and decoration of Glashutte watches is always done by hand and only by traditional means. As the result there appears a function-oriented movement with the classic design featuring Glashutte watchmaking.

The company produces watches in limited editions and their price is rather high. This fact says about the Glashutte Original watches' exceptional uniqueness.
